No one wants a big metal hitch hanging under the bumper. This Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver keeps everything tucked away and out of sight. The cross tube hides behind the bumper, and the receiver or ball mount can be removed with no tools when you’re done towing. Pop in the included hitch plug to cover the opening and keep dirt out. You get a completely concealed setup that looks like it came from the factory that way.

This hitch is built for both towing and hauling. The 2" x 2" receiver lets you attach a bike rack or cargo carrier, while the included ball mount gives you full towing capability for small trailers. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs. The kit even includes trailer wiring with a 4-way flat connector to power your trailer’s signal lights. Whether you’re hauling bikes, camping gear, or a utility trailer, everything you need is already in the box.

The attachments click into place in seconds and come off just as easily—no tools needed. Tight tolerances keep everything from rattling when starting or stopping, and the integrated lock secures the connection against theft. Installation is straightforward too. It bolts to existing connection points with no drilling or welding required, keeping your vehicle’s crumple zones intact and maintaining ground clearance.

This setup is made with durable stainless steel that resists corrosion and stays solid over time. A black powder coat finish adds another layer of protection against rust and road wear. It’s built to meet SAE J684 towing safety regulations, so you can tow with confidence knowing it’s designed for strength, safety, and long-term performance.

Customer service is awesome. Had to return an order that I messed up. Very easy to deal with.
Not a snap to install on my BMW. Probably would have taken 3 - 4 hours. My son did it under 2 hours. It works great. I tow a 2500 lb trailer on mountain roads, no problem and then it disappears when I don’t plan to use it for awhile.
Although the directions were really clear, the hitch was a little complicated to install, which included removal of the entire rear bumper section. It was worthwhile though since the hitch frame is completely invisible when not in use. The hitch is solid and works great. I would definitely recommend.
Love this. Had my local shop install it on my 2017 BMW 330 wagon (F31), and it's perfect. I only use it for my Kuat bike rack, which I only need on the car a half dozen times a year or so. The wagon is pretty slick - lowered about an inch and carefully tuned - and the Stealth Hitch is totally invisible except when I need the bike rack on it. No installation issues, instructions were clear. Pricey addition to the car, but I'd do it again in a minute.
I love the hitch as it is well hidden when not in use and is solid and works well when I do need it. It has no draw-bar rattle like my other hitches. The installation for hitch and wiring went well. I have used to pull a 22' pontoon and 20' fiberglass boat. Only drawbacks are 1) it is more expensive than other options (but the hidden feature is worthwhile), 2) The hitch plug that is used to keep out dirt when the hitch is not being used has fallen out (I hear they have a tendency to fall out during cold winters) so I had to order a new one ($10) and am using tape to ensure it does not fall out again. The most challenging part of the installation for my 328xi was trimming the exhaust heat shield. No need to submit a photo because you cannot see the hitch.
Hitch was easy to install with provided video just followed it step by step. It functions perfectly, is totally hidden when not in use and the ball is kept in the trunk and pulls my 1,000 pound boat no problem.
The wiring was a little tricky but support from entailed was great with getting that fixed… turns out the gray wire with a white stripe is not the same as a white wire with a gray stripe or whatever the colors were. It seemed pricey at first but the money saved by pulling the little boat long distance with a 40 mpg 328d vs. full size truck is already close to paying it off.
This Stealth hitch was the only one to fit my 3 series BMW Wagon unless I wanted to spend even more than this one and buy one from BMW. This one is very expensive and you need to take apart the rear panel from your car but instructions were straight forward and I took my time and installed it in a few hours. It is an awesome hitch and I am using it right now with a motorcycle rack to haul my vintage Vespa from Las Vegas to San Diego California to my Son's house. The thing I like about it is when I am not using it I remove the receiver and you can not tell I have a hitch on my BMW! Expensive yes but It was the only one made to fit my car and it is well made and works as advertised!
